You’re Invited to Compete in the Pizza Olympics!
Dominoids from all over are invited to compete in these 6 sports to see who can do them the fastest! In these common store tasks, speed and quality will be judged to crown the winners! Are you the best of best? Prove it!
There will be one sport a week and you can submit your entry any time that week. Entries will be a virtual form with a video submission. The sports all have quality checks that add time, so be sure to read the instructions on the video submission link to see what else needs to be included.
Each sport will have a leaderboard with a Gold, Silver, and Bronze winner! These people will earn Pizza Olympic Pins.
The top 5 submissions earn points for their franchise (first place = 5 points, second place = 4 points, etc.)

SPORT BREAKDOWNS:
Pepperoni Times (Extended to June 4th)
Competitor will be timed making a large pepperoni pizza. When the timer starts, the Competitor can’t be touching anything, but the pizza screen may be in place and competitor can fluff the cheese and pepperoni. Judge will say “Ready, Set, Begin!” and start the timer. Competitor will make a large pepperoni pizza, complete with fully defined rim, and put their hands up and say “Done!” when done. The pizza will be judged on size, portion, and placement. 5 seconds will be added to the time if the pizza doesn’t fit the screen or wasn’t docked all the way around, 5 seconds will be added if there are placement issues (sauce on the rim, sauce too wide, big spots missing pepperoni or cheese, etc), and 2 seconds will be added for every pepperoni over 42 or under 38.
Pit Cleaning (May 29th – June 4th)
Competitor will be timed on how fast they can separate toppings in a makeline tray. Judges will weigh out: 10oz of pizza cheese, 2oz of Sausage, 2oz of Green Peppers, and 2oz of Onions into a prep bucket, shake it up, and drop it into a clean makeline tray. Competitor will start sorting at “Ready, Set, Begin” on and just leave the pizza cheese. Once they put their hands up and say “done!” the timer will stop and the judge will weigh the remaining product in the tray. 2 seconds will be added for every .1oz over or under 10oz.
Chicken Portion Grabbing (June 5th – 11th)
Judge will set out 3 screens with parchment on them. On “Ready, Set, Begin.” time will start and the competitor will grab and place 2.5oz of chicken on each parchment paper. When they put their arms up and say “done” the timer will stop. Each screen will be weighed and 2 seconds will be added for every .1oz above or below 2.5oz. (Screen with parchment paper will be tared out)
Cutting Edge Challenge (June 12th – 18th)
Competitor will be timed removing 2 medium pizzas from the oven, cutting them, garlicing them, and boxing them. The time starts with the pizza peel is under the first pizza and ends when both boxes are properly folded. 2 seconds (per pizza) added on for slices cut poorly and for each slice with bad garlic oil placement (on the box or on the pizza/not on the crust).
Garlic Oil Prepping (June 19th – 25th)
Competitor will be timed prepping 1 bag (2 bottles) Of Garlic Oil. Start with the bottles ready with bags in them. Scissors, lids, and dough scraper on the table. On “Ready, Set, Begin” competitor will cut the pouch and pour the sauce into the bottles. When they say “Done!”, time will stop, and prep will be judged. Lids mush be securely on the bottle or a 2 second penalty will be added. The bag will be weighed and 2 seconds added for every .1oz over empty (weighing sauce left in bag that should be in bottle).
Bread Twist Making (June 26th – July 2nd)
Competitor will be timed making 2 orders of bread twists. Before the timer starts the competitor can ready the pan with mat and parchment and get the table ready with the scraper and cutter. On “Ready, Set, Begin” the timer will start and the competitor will grab the scraper and scrape out the dough and prep the twists. Once they put their hands up and say “Done” the twists will be judged. 2 seconds will be added for every twist that isn’t 3” tall with a 1” tail with a visible eye.
